Born and raised in Bangladesh, Zannat got her Master of Fine Arts in Graphics. She also received a diploma in crafts from Shantiniketan, India. Unfortunately, her desires were buried for a while, but she started anew at the Islip Arts Council.
While she pursued her interest in art again, Mrs. Sultana published two books, recited Bengali poetry, and several of her original poems became songs. She is also an active volunteer at the Islip Arts Council, and takes art classes during the week.
Zannat is grateful to the Islip Arts Council for keeping her dreams alive.
