In an attempt to evoke the spirit of artist Bob Ross, artists are asked to point their creative focus to trees in all their many forms, whether they be happy or sad trees, big or small trees, or trees standing quietly alone against a landscape or trees as part of a mighty forest.
Founded in 1974, the Islip Arts Council is dedicated to leadership, advocacy, and excellence in the arts. Our goal is to present, produce, and promote culturally responsive, high quality programs in varied artistic disciplines for our diverse Long Island community.
